On april 11 I had an interview that went well. The day after the interview I mailed thank you letters. They said in two weeks they'd start calling. I called them after two weeks and was told that they were backlogged and it'd be another week. Tomorrow is the end of that week. Should I send this email...

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the interview team again for speaking with me on April 11 about the _______ position at ______. I am looking forward to hearing from you regarding this opportunity again.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

If I send it am I "keeping myself in front of them" or am I just being annoying???

I want the job, but I'm getting tired of waiting. I feel like I should remind them that I am here waiting, but I also don't want them to think I'm annoying...

You are keeping it in front of them & letting them know you are persistent in your goals & complete what you start.

Best of luck!

By all means, contact them after that week is up. You are showing initiative and showing that you know how to follow through. You are keeping your name in front of them in a professional manner.
In the meantime, continue to job hunt. There is the chance you may not get the first job, and there is no reason you should wait around forever.
If you don't get the job, contact the interviewer a little later and ask that you be remembered in case another job becomes available. (There is always a chance their first choice might not work out.) If you feel comfortable with the interviewer, ask if they have a moment to talk further and ask what you might do to strengthen your resume or interview skills. (In other words, ask for feedback about why they didn't choose you, so that you can make some possible corrections in your presentation.)
A month later, contact them again, briefly and professionally. It can't hurt. If they have a problem with that, they will tell you.
The first thing they tell you in sales is that customers will tell you no the first 8 times you ask for the sale. It applies here. You are selling yourself to the company. Don't get discouraged.
