first, define prejudice, and explain what the definition means.
Give some history and insight into the problem
Then find two arguements:
1. why it IS dead.
2. Why it IS NOT dead.
Then discuss, with a little of what you believe thrown in.
Look up 'prejudice' and give a few good quotes.
Hint: Martin Luther King might be a good one for quotes.

What's your start - is the age of prejudice dead?
Well, what's prejudice anyway? Is it the same as bias or bigotry? What would be "the age of prejudice" - is that some sort of defined time period, or is it more of a philosophical idea? How is prejudice related to tribalism? to stereotyping? Why are people prejudiced, anyway? Could it be a useful behavior? If not, why is it so widespread? Is prejudice a learned behavior, or is it built in to us? Can prejudice be 'unlearned' or overcome?
These are just a few questions off the top of my head - you may find that you can come up with a bunch more as you get going.
Don't worry about how you're going to do it, or how long it has to be. Just start writing down questions and then answering them. It's easier to re-arrange stuff you've already written than to try to write something perfect from the start, so just write something down. Once you have something, you'll see where you need to fill in holes or add stuff, maybe where you need to trim it. Organize it in sections - an overall idea, then a series of questions and answers, maybe, or however you want to do it.
The nice thing about an essay is that there really isn't any wrong way to do it, as long as it's your own thoughts and your own work.

Prejudice is innate in all humans and therefore is immortal.
Solicitors often correspond with each other and frequently the letter will have a heading, 'WITHOUT PREJUDICE'.
As long as this appears on the correspondence then anything contained therein may not be used as evidence or admission in any form.
On a personal level, how often do you take an instant dislike to another person before you have even spoken to them?

Firstly, there is no such thing as the 'age of prejudice'. Secondly, the idea that discrimination can ever disappear from a society is nonsense because humans always discriminate.
Try this...if we stop using the word n****r, does that mean we stop discriminating against black people?
Or this...If we pretend that disabled people are the same as us...does that make it true?
Or even this...If a man pats a woman on the head and tells her she is wonderful....is she equal?
Look...listen...think.
Good luck.

Since it is clear that prejudice itself is not dead, you might want to take the approach that the Age of Prejudice, when it was socially acceptable and common for people to have and express prejudices, is dead. Define prejudice in general, specifiy which types of prejudice you are referring to (racial? ethnic? gender? religious?).

This is how you should set up your paper.
1. Define prejudice
2. Give a history of it (IE Civil Rights Movement/etc)
3. Show how it became woven into the generations/also why its slowly disappearing
4. Tell whats being done to combat ignorance today
