the whole thing is PROCESS!, isolate the variable to one side, then put everything else on the other!, Reduce as you need to. any identical item on the same side, with oposite signs, is zero(example: -(x^2) +(x^2) =0, where ^ is to the power of. so terms like that can be crossed out.) Process makes this easy, learn the process, and this will be nothing to you

what you need to do is combine like terms first. like on the first one, 6z+3=8z-5, move 6z to the other side (3=2z-5) then move -5z to the other side, which gives you 8=2z, then divide by 2, giving you the answer of 4=z

=>8=2z
i.e. z=4

what you need is math tutor.
