I would like to work on family movies creating the sets and working with making the magic of what a movie looks like. I know that I have to take classes to do so but I don't know what kinds of collage courses are the ones I need to take. If any one has any information on this I would love to have it. I want to start my classes for the fall semester and I need to know what all to take so that I can get financal aid as soon as possible. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

You need to get into a theater or film design program in college. You will need to take courses in set design, drafting, model making, as well as stagecraft and actual building and scenic painting. You will also have to take introductory classes in costume and lighting design, and possibly sound and other production classes.
