Okay like i said before my sister is pregnant and now she wants to keep her baby and the father is telling her that she CANT keep it and he said he will MAKE her have an abortion and im really scared is there somthing we can do?? any legal measure to take IM SURE IF YOUR A MOTHER YOU KNOW WHERE MY SISTER IS COMING FROM!! the baby's father came to our house and didnt try and work the situation out and he totally flipped causing my father and him to get into a physical FIGHT!!! and he made alot of threats...im scared he might be in a gang!! what should we do?

He cannot force her to have an abortion, the decision is hers ultimately.
If he is threatening her life or the life of their child, then she needs to call the police and obtain a restraining order.

I personally don't think the father has a right to make your sister abort the child. The only way he could possibly get a court order to abort the baby is if there is some kind of serious medical condition with your sister and the pregnancy and/or birth puts her life in danger. If thats not the case, then she shouldn't have anything to worry about. If the father doesn't want to be a part of this child's life, then that is his loss. I'm sure your sister is a strong willed woman and could do this on her own, with your support, of course!!!

Your sister is in a very dangerous situation. Some men get pretty desperate when they are not ready for the responsibility that goes along with being a dad. Which is why we (women) need to be more careful in the choices that we are making and who we are choosing to lay down with.
Your sister needs to file a restraining order against him if she feels threatened by him. He can not MAKE her do anything that she doesn't want to do. So if she wants to have this baby, he is just out of luck. Guess he will be more careful where he lays his "head" next time.

How will he make her have an abortion? Is he threatening physical violence? If so, call the police and file a report, possibly get a restraining order if he's violent. But he can't take her to a doctor and tell them to give her an abortion without her consent. Best of luck.

She needs to get aways from him and stay away from him. It's not his choice whether or not she keeps the baby. She can have a restraining order put against him or go to a shelter and ask for help there. He can't make her have an abortion, but she needs to protect herself and the baby from him.

He can't make her have an abortion and NO abortion clinic would or should perform the abortion if she seems even the slightest bit uncertain or if it seems like someone else is forcing her. Legal measures? Um maybe a restraining order if he is threatening to do bodily harm to her if she doesn't have an abortion.

I don't believe that he can MAKE her have an abortion!! It's HER body. If he doesn't want to be involved with the baby, then that's his choice, he can give up his Parental Rites.
Just try not to let her go anywhere along if you are scared he will do something to her. She could also get a restraining order on him.

No one can force someone to have an abortion. No doctor will perform one under those circumstances. I suggest an immediate restraining order against this guy.
Your panicky behaviour on an anonymous forum filled mainly with kids is very disturbing. What do you expect from here? Call the cops, how hard is that to think of yourself?

There is nothing that he can do to force her to have an abortion. It is her body and he cannot do anthing about it. However, if you are concerned that his threat may have more to do with hurting her and less about abortion, than I urge you to tape phone calls with him, and make a record of any threats he's made and get a restraining order.
Pregnancy is notably one of the highest times in a women's life where she is likely to be abused by a domestic partner, or even killed. Take any threats seriously and treat them accordingly!

Have her call the police and get a restraining order on that creep. He can't make her have an abortion but he sounds like he could get violent.
Make sure she has a safe place to stay or that someone is staying with her.
