I would deffinately recommend Lois Duncan, all her books are horror/thriller, and some have the teen romance you are looking for. Some of her books were adapted to films, like I Know What You Did Last Summer. and Killing Mr. Griffin

Try Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It's about a young girl who is in love with a vampire. It is the first book in a series. My 14 year old and all of her friends have been reading it.

i don't know if this is what you are looking for, but i always reccomend the harry potter series. ok, so it's not really horror, but there are ghosts at hogwarts... and there is a bit of teen love. plus, they are AMAZING books, no matter what your age. j.k. rowling is a genius! trust me, you will definitely be unable to put down these books once you get started!

Dean Koontz and Stephen King's books are good to read, I'm not sure if you'd get the romance bit though.

Next by Michael Creighton (spelling? the guy who wrote jurassic park). It's scifi but more science, less ghosts. spent many weeks on the times best seller list. not much romance, but i think you'll like it anyways.
