WWII and Iraq are very different wars. WWII there was a clear enemy that we had to fight. In Iraq we are fighting an underground insurgency where some people put on American troop uniforms and bomb us. And then you have those insurgents not only fighting us but fighting each other.
I don't think WWII and Iraq are fair comparison b/c it was an extremely different situation then given the fact that this was a WORLD war and not many nations are behind us in the Iraq War.
If you want to compare Iraq to another war then compare it to Vietnam b/c it's much more similar to that war than WWII b/c they're was an underground insurgency in that war too. You're comparing apples to oranges here and you know it b/c you already know the answer you are looking for. This isn't a fair comparison.

Figures someone would blame the Democrats.
Well the enemy doesn't wear a uniform. There is no organized military for us to defeat. We are fighting both terrorists and insurgents. The troops death by road side bombs could be greatly reduced if they have the proper armour under the vehicle. Oh and the people of Iraq don't want us there so we will never win their hearts and minds.

In WWII there was actually an army to fight, not a massive population infiltrated by radical Jihadists who blend in and have no concern for human life, innocent or not. The flip side is that we do not experience many casualties compared to previous wars, because the enemy knows they cannot fight us face to face.

they are issues that could in undemanding terms be got here upon after 1000's and 1000's of trials. and of course, strict limit needs to be in place. even with the undeniable fact that, through fact the muse of technology is often changing through new discoveries, we could desire to even have sympathy to the drug business business enterprise to boot. they are not miracle makers, they simply attempt to make income by using advertising something that they "think of" could desire to help human beings. think of the worldwide without antibiotics and different drugs, what number human beings could could desire to die? If we agree that technology can be replaced, the drug business business enterprise could desire to not have an excuse of increasing drugs expenses through fact of regulation fit.additionally if we glance on the different area that has used the socialist device it has slowed down and did not stay as much as its Utopian promise. No device is optimal yet open and loose marketplace is the final obtainable.

Nothing.. we defeated the Iraqi army as quickly as we thought we would.. and that is what you can compare to Japan and Germany... now we are in a war of ideologies and dogma.. and the only way a military can win that is threw suppression or genocide.. neither of which would help us spread democracy and freedom.

Iraq is in a civil war.
That's like Germany coming here during our civil war and trying to set up a different government for us.
Crazy! You can't win. All sides want us out of there.
And to think Saddam had his country under control and we've caused chaos.

The troops had huge public support in WWII and the country was united. Who knows if Rosie was on the View in the 1940s we might all be speaking German.
