we have a dell all in one printer which we are happy with but did not know the only way to get ink is through their website and as with most ink cartridges they cost a fortune. I found a company who carries just about evry mfg's ink but dell's.

There are a lot of places where you can buy cheaper cartridges.
However, beware of buying refill kits, or getting your cartridges refilled by a local store. The ink they use is usually substandard, and will end up damaging your printer. Also, with newer printers, the cartridges have a "chip" in them, and it will cause the cartridges to stop working even if you have them refilled.
Remanufactured cartridges is the way to go. They are usually refilled with prime quality ink, and everything is reset on them, so you get a cartridge that is essentially new, for just a fraciton of the price.

I work at officemax and like the other office stores we only sell the store brand (remanufactured) Dell ink and not for all models. We do however fill the ink cartridges and it's about half the price. I'm pretty sure that most of the other office stores do the same. The other way to go would be eBay, you can probably get some good deals there.

staples and office depot are the main ones.
otherise, try to find small refilling companies like rapid refill or island inkjet. they sell dell also.
