Sure of course why not, a black girl could be anything they want to be, goth, punk and heavy or all of them mixed. There's no reason why you can't dress a certain way just because of your ethnicity. Personally I think a girl being African American dressing like this is really unique and interesting, SO DRESS HOWEVER YOU WANT.

My husband once told me goth is a subculture of grunge, which is a subculture of punk, which i'm not sure if heavy metal is another genre of rock or a larger one which punk is a part of. it is fully possible to be all three, and it has nothing to do with race. The ones who educated me on this are my husband and his friends from high school, all but one of which are black.

Anyone can be anything they want to me. Black, or white. If that's the style you like, and who you are, go for it. Color doesn't matter at all. Don't let anyone make fun of you, if thats who you are, don't change. Just ignore them, you're better than them.
