Actually, I'm amazed at how many people are uninformed on the subject of abortion. Nurses have testified in court that the child in a partial-birth abortion throws it's arms and legs out when the back of their head is cut open. (same as when a baby thinks it's falling). Yet people still support this. So partial birth is illegal but not D&E where they cut up the baby into little pieces. Now this is done on babies that could survive outside the womb.

Also, people don't know the developmental stages of a baby. The don't know when the heart beats, what he/she looks like and etc. The baby will suck it's thumb and make faces.

I don't think that shouting at people and showing pics of dead babies does anything beneficial. I know I'd run away from someone like that.

I think abortion is murder. I also agree that women should have sonograms to know what's inside them and they should be more educated before they abort. Also, people should know about post-abortion syndrome.

Men should shut their traps when it comes to abortion. While I don't believe abortion as a means of birth control but I support a woman's right to choose. I also think that unless a woman's life/ health is in danger, no abortion should be performed after 20 weeks of gestation. The majority of abortions are performed in the first 8 weeks of pregnancy. Less than 3 percent are performed in the last trimester. Partial birth abortion is horrific and if you've gotten that far, you might as well have the baby and give it up for adoption.
The best way to avoid an unintended pregnancy is abstinence or birth control. Abstinence is unrealistic for married couples. AND 40% of abortions performed are on married women who already have children. It would be best if people practiced responsible sex. However, there are times when birth control will fail - but that is rare. My problem with the anti-abortion crowd is that they are typically the same people who would also like to do away with a woman's right to birth control. Men should stay out of it. As the old saying goes, if men got pregnant, abortion would be sacrament. That's the d@mn truth!

Are you sure they cant feel the pain? Science says otherwise. Human embryologists declare that life starts at conception. 93% of abortions ar for birth control purposes only. 93%! Simply because the child is inconvenient. only 1% of abortions are for rape/incest cases. Only 6% of abortions are for medical complications. This 7% is a grey area. The 93% of abortions used for birth control only in not a grey area. It is wrong. the prochoice argument has too many holes and fallacies. One is that the chiild cannot feel the pain. Even this is false in many abortions. Another fallacy is that it isnt human life. Again, this has been disproven. Right is right and wrong is wrong, even if that wrong is convenient. I cant change the way you feel, but I can give you facts. Facts fight ignorance, which is a major reason abortion is still legal.

shouldn't u preach ur own philosphy to yourself. if a pro-lifer can't change ur mind how come a pro-choicer like u can change the mind of a pro-lifer. so hyprocritical. its 50/50 thats why a man should have a decision in it. I hate when the people use the excuse "its my body" no its not ur body. its a fetus. it is wrong because its murder on an unborn child and yes it feels pain and has a heart at 18 days. before making irrational comments about why it's ur choice and proven facts read a book and check statics.

i am a man. i have never been raped or the victim of incest or abuse of any kind. these are the only reasons there cannot be a blanket law, in my opinion.

outside those circumstances, or the mother's life being in danger, abortion is murder. if babies can't feel pain, how come they cry when they piss themselves, or get hungry. destroying a life you have taken the responsibility of creating just because you don't want to be inconvenienced by the consequences of your slutty actions is murder, and the most selfish act i can think of.

i suspect you feel this way because you have had an abortion. how is your guilt?

why cant men have an opinion? is it because we dont carry the children? abortion is wrong. you go and kill children because you couldnt keep your leg closed. you might say that some women get raped and want an abortion, but out of the millions of women who get abortions annually in the us, only 1% of them are getting it because of rape or incest. 93% is because of social reason. your just supporting unethical behavior in women. anyway, the fetus has a right. would you like your mom to kill you because she dont want you anymore. she cant because your a living thing and you have rights, just like the child that is being carried inside you.

how do you know children can't feel that pain? How do you know they can't feel the pain of being ripped apart while in the womb? I do support a woman's choice, but I want it to be an informed choice, and it seems to me that you are not looking at both sides of the story. It is a life you are taking whether you choose to believe that or not.

A baby...growing inside wanting to be born. Its not the babies fault some ****** woman is a whore and didnt use prtection, or some man raped the lady and now she's pregnant, its not the babies fault!

Murder is murder. I cases of rape yeah I can see that or if the life of the mother is at stake...sure. But you know we know where babies come from and how there made so maybe if people thought about what their doing and what the happens maybe we wouldn't have to say MURDER IS MURDER! I'm pro-choice you CHOOSE to make the baby. There choice made! After that I'm pro-life. Sure it's your body but after your choice you have another one that can feel pain to worry about.
