To see your Internet History (in Internet Explorer) go to the sundial like icon. If you mouse over your icons then you should find one labeled history. If you press the icon then a screen will open on the left side with a history of where you have been.
To delete that history go to the Tools choice on the menu bar and select the Internet Options choice at the bottom of the menu. It will open a new dialog box. This box lets you handle your cookies, the colors and fonts you want to force web pages to use and you can control your history file.
The box is divided in three sections and you need to go the third and bottom section. Called History. The counter selects how many days you want to collect the history for, and the clear history button lets you clear the entire history file. If you set your history counter to zero then your browser will not keep track of your Internet History.
The top section lets you set your home page, but if you are running a good firewall program that option will be grayed out so no one else can and no nasty software can change your homepage.

To clear out the history in Internet Explorer,
1. Hit the Tools menu,
2. Internet Options.
3. On the General tab, you'll see a History area.
4. Click the "Clear History" button and you're all set.

To check your history of your Internet use look up on top of page next to your favourites., The little blue circle with the green arrow is your history for Internet. Once you click on it will open up your Internet history on the far left hand corner, and yes you can erase it to clean up computer.

If you're using Internet Explorer, just click on Control-H to bring up your history. You can delete all the entries in here.
Also in IE, you can click on Tools - Internet Options from the menu, then on the General tab click on "clear history". You can also change the number of days to keep there.

The easiest way is to use a history deletion tool.
Try http://www.morun.net/www/delete-history-free/delete-internet-explorer-history.html
It supposedly works with IE, Mozilla, Netscape, Firefox, and Opera.
