My neighbor had his 2 pet birds out last weekend in their cage.
As i was mowing the lawn, a big rock shot out from the mower blades and nailed the cage, knocking it over killing both birds.
As i approached the man, he was crying; and i said "Now that's what i call killing 2 birds with one stone".
What's so bad about that?

Actually that was rather funny... but I guess it wouldn't have been if they were my birds... lol but if I would have been a bystander and heard the remark... he would have been even more upset because I would have laughed so hard and made the situation a lot worse... lmao

If You See Him Again Tell Him You're Really Really Really sorry and you'll make it up to him by doing something nice. and that was wrong because even with humor if it's a sad moment Humor is'nt the best choice.

there's nothing wrong with what you said - if I'd been there I might wish I'd said it myself. However, it maybe was lacking in tact. Be honest now, did this really happen? It almost sounds too funny to be true.
