Yup. Supreme Dictator George W Bush has hijacked the nation's democratic process and, against the majority of congress, has veto'd a bill that would do nothing but help the soldiers in Iraq.
Get real.
The soldier's are dying because politicians are trying to make this a political battle rather than a war. If Democrats would stick with the decision they made years ago to go to war (with an overwhelming majority) instead of pandering to their own political ambitions, this war would probably be near ending.
This is a war. People die in wars. Pulling out and throwing up the white flag doesn't stop the war, nor does it stop the killing. Support the troops by letting them make the decisions on where they need to be, not politicians whose only concern is the next presidential election.

Sounds like that old Dylan tune...
"How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind."
With any luck, the wind o' Bush won't be the byproduct of a nuclear blast.
Dumbya doesn't know he's incompetent. Dumbya never admits to being wrong. Dumbya has no empathy or sympathy with the suffering of "common folk." He basically flunked out of the national guard, ran several companies into the ground and, as Texas' governor, allowed a record-setting 131 executions to be carried out over 5 years without batting an eye--or reading a clemency petition. He has surrounded himself with like-minded individuals and syncophants and donned the cloak of Christ's approval to insulate himself from contamination by "godless traitors" (i.e, thinking critics) like me. He is and always has been a spoiled rich kid with a cowboy mentality. Yee-hah!
IMHO, none of this portends self-evaluation on his part anytime soon, if ever. He is, beyond a doubt, not only the worst but the most dangerous, duplicitous, arrogant, contemptuous, mindless, politicized, stubborn, egotistical, and embarrassing US president in modern history--and, sadly, also one of the most charismatic within certain circles.
The blood of 3,352 dead US military people, 14,912 US military wounded, 62,770 dead Iraqi civilians, and 655,000 "excess" dead Iraqi citizens is on his hands but he suffers not so much as a hangnail.
On the bright side, with the price of gas skyrocketing, he'll retire from the presidency with a good retirement plan....

Unknown because he is not incompetent. Soldiers die in war. That is how it works. What he is doing is working. We removed Saddam, victory #1. Iraq has had many free elections victory #2.
Not sure where you get the incompetence from.

he won't admit it and will probably keep everything going until the election and then he and his peers will try to blame the war and death's on the Democrat's ineffectiveness in getting troops out immediately..it is a foul foul mess and the people dying is heartbreaking

You have to be able to pronounce incompetence and know what it means before you can admit to it. Won't happen!!!

If you could name me one war where there were no fatalities, then maybe I might take your question a bit more seriously. It has nothing to do with the competency of a President who is upholding his responsibilities as President, one who doesnt look the other way, as you people were used to with Clinton.
