As negative numbers don´t have log
5x+2>0 so x>-2/5 and 2x-5>0 so x> 5/2 (This is the condition)
so 5x+2= 2x-5
so 3x = -7 and x=-7/3 which is NOT solution as x must be >5/2
The equation has NO solution

Since log(5x+2) = log(2x-5)
we know that 5x + 2 = 2x - 5
So 3x = -7
x = -7/3

log(5x+2)=log(2x-5)
Log5X .Log 2=Log 2x/Log5
Log5X/Log 2x=1/log2.Log5
Log (5x-2x)=1/log(2+5)
Log 3x=log 10/log 7
log 3x=log3
x=1
