Yes, I loved playing in the rain as a child, and I still enjoy the rain as an adult.
When I was little and wanted to play in the rain, my mom would dress me in my rain coat and boots so I could go out and have fun.

I was allowed. It was so fun playing in the rain as a child. We used to play hockey on roller blades out in the rain, that was fun. Also jumping through the puddles and just being a kid and having fun.

No when I was a kid my brother and sisters wasn't allowed to play outside whenever it rained. We were allowed to go to a friends house and play though.

We were allowed to play in the rain as long as there was no lightening and/or thunder. And I still play in the rain, and so does my kids.

Sometimes, I could. It was mostly when I was at a friends house I had to go inside, or if I were wearing new clothes or something. Now I'm older, I can go out in the rain whenever I want...

My Mom encouraged me to play in the rain as long as there were no high winds or lightning. You just have to let a kid be a kid. I had a bunch of fun racing ice pop sticks down the trail of water at the curb and the first one down the sewer WINS.
Thank you for the GREAT Memories!.

I had to stay in. Truthfully, my mother was not big on my playing outdoors to begin with. She said there was nothing out there that I needed to see. But I do remember being a little kid (pre-school) and wandering outside once. It started raining, and my father grabbed and shook me, yelling, "You idiot! You don't even have sense enough to come in from the rain!" as he literally threw me through the open back door and into the house. The landing was painful enough that I didn't try it again.
