most of them are fat colored gals who wobble when they walk. Of course the media likes to show those fatso's getting over on a white couple. But all in all, I reckon they earn enough money for good chow. They really are fat.

My experience with a social worker was initially one of intense dislike. We were left at risk and nothing was achieved. However my experience with a second social worker was exceptional. This person went above and beyond job specification to get the help we needed. In hindsight I realise my first experience was with a worker who had just graduated, had no life experience and was firmly operating from a child saving perspective without having the experience of a family or the high risk situation our family were in. A lot of people also do not realise that many social workers are constrained within workplace policies and procedures which often goes against the very work they are trying to do.

The consensus seems to be varied. There are good stories and bad. My personal experiences with social workers have not been at all good, and I am of the opinion that they should be kept away from your family as much as possible. One qualified social worker has written in, claiming that the area is as any other; with good workers and bad workers. The implication is that it's the bad workers who have managed to get all social workers a bad name. If the bad social workers are known, and are the reason that a 'theoretically' good group of people are being misrepresented, then why are they allowed to continue as social workers? If these are bad people for the job, then what are they doing working in a supporting capacity? I believe that the post of social worker should only be occupied by people who have experience in the fields that they will be working in, and not university graduates who are so rigid that they have no capacity to develop or adjust their understanding to the requirements of any situation.

Hi
I am a qualified social worker and believe me I have worked with effective workers and I have worked with oppressive workers. It is just like any other profession with a mix of personalities. The General Social Care Council governs our practice now and this reduces the prospect of bad practice. All qualified social workers have to be qualified and
registered and this serves to ensure professionalism and the best possible service to children and adults in need.

One point that hasn't been made is that, as in so many other Government and Local Government departments, social workers are starved of money and resources.
There are a few monsters - they often seem to be the ones who work with children - but most social workers are just doing their best to do cope with an impossible work load.

Social workers well, 1 of my good friends had 2 kids and she wa a blady good mum, she had the 'wrong' boyfriend, well her little one fell of a garage roof (like kids too when they climb) so social services got involved in every aspect of her life, they weren't needed trust me, in the end they 'tricked her' into a meeting somewhere to 'discuss' the children and i went with her, 20 officers and 4 social workers turned up at this meeting, i have never been through something so horrific as that, her kids were petrified no1, and when they decided that they wanted to take the kids from her i held them in my arms before they were torn literally away screaming for their mum, now if she was so bad why were they screaming for her, that broke my heart, they were placed with an elderly couple and within days adoption papers were being drawn up, its since been found out through solicitors that they were being abused in 'social services' care and are now with their dad. Their mum had a breakdown through what happened and is no longer capable of caring for them. They have a bad reputation in society because they are ruthless, they crack down on the wrong people and the good are targeted. its their own fault and i dont care to be honest they brought it on themselves, which why they are screaming for social workers now because no one will work in that position. For years they turned 'blind eyes' on abuse happening in older generations because it wasn't proper to get involved, what kind of crap is that and they wonder why they're hated.

Social workers perform the very useful task of assessing multiple facets of need in any community. Unfortunately, they don´t have what you might call a high social status because they usually work with the underprivileged and underrepresented people in society.

I work with some wonderful college professors of Social Work. They all work out in the field, some in private practice.

a lot of ladies already do this. They positioned on no makeup, positioned on hassle-free, straight forward hairstyles. i think of interior the west maximum women shave - there replaced right into a muslim woman who in observance of her faith's tenets chosen to no longer shave. She had a seen mustache on her greater lip. A non-muslim woman took her %. and published it alongside with nasty, insulting assertion. it is what I anticipate if a woman has a mustache or outfits in so called masculine techniques. in any different case, you will desire to be in basic terms large.
