My husband and I have been trying to see the kids (Jordain 7, Jocelynn 5 and Jacob 3) for the past year and his ex will not let us see them! I am his wife and I am going to be a part of their lives regardless...why is she so adement to keep us from them? We love and miss them too!

Because she is evil and unhappy so she wants to project her misery onto you (the new wife/other woman) and her ex. I hope for your sake that you husband doesn't make the trip. It is not fair to the kids to be apart from their father, but there comes a point when he is going to have to take a stand and let her know she is not in control.

First, what is in the divorce decree? Most states have laws that say how far away she can move, so as not to be a deterrent to him being their father.
Second, she can NOT deny him the right to see his kids, with or without you! That's the law in ALL 50 states! They are his children, and to deny him his rights is to put herself in contempt of the courts. She could end up being prosecuted or even jail time.
Third, she obviously is not over your husband, and really hates you. That's what happens in divorce & remarriage....you're never going to be friends with her, and she's going to be jealous of you, and not want you to be a part of her kids' life....thankfully the law is on your husband's side in this.
Get in the car and go see the kids, and to hell with what she wants! The father & children have rights, too. Make sure you bring any legal documentation along, in case she calls the police....once they see the paperwork, she'll be the one in trouble.
If all else fails, hire an attorney and start a custody battle. She'll be scared out of her wits and start singing a different tune. (I know I'm sounding awfully nasty, but I hate it when women manipulate men by using their children as the bait!)

Why don't you get a motel over where she lives and you both can stay there for a period of time to spend with the kids. Why not go back to court and have an order put in place as to visitations.

It's a power trip for her. She has control, knows you want to see them, she's probably jealous of your situation and this is her way of hurting you.
The best thing to do would be discuss with your lawyer in regards to your rights. She can't just refuse to let you see them -- the decision on how much you can/cannot see the kids is up to the courts...

Your husband should file for joint custody/visitation rights of his children so that way she cannot bar him or you from seeing his children.
More than likely she is bitter from them not being together and is holding his children against him for that reason. But in all seriousness he should go to court and file for visitation rights - he is their father and has the right to spend time with them.
If your husband travels to see his children, will he be staying at a hotel? She cannot stop you from traveling with him. It is a sad situation that you have been put in the middle of, so please, please, please have your husband files the papers at the court house.

She doesnt like you nad this is her way of 'sticking it" to you.You both could move closer to his kids which would be a better idea.Or you could go and stay in a hotel.The kids have it hard though dont make it worse.

Because She has control and she Knows it......sounds like she enjoys it.....Look into the court papers and she if she can get away with this.

she just wants attention. cuz she's obviously not gettin attention from ur husband anymore. she feels she has to get it some way. She just jealous.
