I volunteer on our military base frequently. My husband is Army, active and has had several killed and injured in his unit. If you ask any of them that have been injured, even the ones with permanent disabling injuries, they will not once ask for pitty due to Bush. Most don't agree with why we went to start with to Iraq, but you'll be hard pressed here anyway, to find anyone in my husbands unit that would even consider a withdrawal safe. My husband spent 2 out of last 3 1/2 years there. It's hard without him, but those injurred soldiers, the majority anyway would not want your sympathy or your charity.

So if Gore was President after 9/11 he would not have gone to war? I think he would have. Why don't you liberals help our Soldiers who are fighting FOR YOU instead of helping everyone else, especially illegal immigrants.

Will everyone who sneers at our troops and talks smack about them volunteer? After all, it is thanks to the men and women of our military that we have the freedom to do so.
And since some of that blood is from *my* family, we've done our share.
