A code of ethics is a set of moral values that a person uses to guide their conduct. Some might call the 10 commandements a code of ethics. Some professions, like Social Work or Medicine have a professional code of ethics that they use to govern the way they practice.

Its a set of ethical rules for an organization and its members to abide by. In religious terms, the Ten Commandments are a good example.
