Anyone else confused by the ending of LOST last week. Any theories about why the mystery woman said that they found flight 815 and all the passangers were dead?

Of course, there's one theory that everyone on the island is already dead or in some kind of limbo. I don't believe that, but there's certainly a chance that the island is somehow outside of reality. If we had all the answers we'd stop watching.

You guys all will go to hell I know I cant decide but I know because I read the Quran, you still have a chance to convert to a Muslim before you even want to experience hell-fire. may god give you some logic and knowledge. For example for all the Christians here in your own holy book which is the bible it says don't eat pork then why do you eat it, it also says in the Hindus book which is Vedas that you cant eat pork but you all still eat it. If you follow the religion then follow it properly.

I think either she's with the Others (we do know they have extensive knowledge of everyone, so just because she had a photo of Pen and Des doesn't mean she is who she says she is) or the plane crash recovery was a huge cover-up.

After Patchy helped her and she said something in Portuguese, he claimed it was "Thank you for helping me" when in fact she said, "I am not alone." Hmm.

The theory of parallel universes has come up, too. A Bermuda triangle type thing. A lot of people still think they are in Purgatory despite what the producers say, and that they need to come to terms with their issues before leaving.

That makes sense for people like Eko and Boone.

But what about Arnst who just blew himself up? Or Niki and Paolo who got buried alive? Or Michael and Walt just leaving?

In the commentary from the first season, the writers said they would not have the premise of the show be that everything was a dream or they were all dead or anything like that, so they AREN'T DEAD! Why she says they were found dead, I don't know. But, I can't wait to see how the writers work this into the plot!

That's what the outside world thinks.

My guess is we'll find out tonight, or at least before the season finale.

Either they are all dead, & this island captures their souls, or the Others have more clout than you think and were able to fake the plane crash elsewhere complete with bodies.

the obvious guess is that the all powerful "others" manufactured the missing jet for the world to see, thereby ending the search for the survivors.

Either someone is lying to her, or someone is lying to the world in general, a giant conspiracy of some sort.

THE "SURVIVORS" ARE ALL REALLY IN COMAS AND SHARING IN AN UNCONCIOUS COMMUNITY (THE ISLAND IS REALLY IN THEIR MINDS).

sorry to yell!!!

That is why when people leave the island they do not come back... they are either waking up from their coma or dying.
