It's possible. I would like to see a centrist political party that had the backing to make a legitmate run at the Presidency and congressional seats.

I think the problem with most third parties is that they always start at the top: running a candidate for President. Why don't they start at the bottom (Congress, Senate, or even state legislatures) and work their way up to the White House?

A moderate view on all issues shows little in the way of conviction and principles.

No, I would vote for Obama, who holds moderate views on almost all issues and is a great statesman besides.

Not likely.

The problem with Moderates is that they catch hell from both sides. They are not liberal enough or socialist enough to satisfy the socialist/liberals, and not conservative enough to satisfy the hardline conservatives.

I will probably vote for the Libertarian candidate.
