Hey I've just started getting into the whole paintball playing frenzy. I play with 6 friends of mine 2 or 3 times a month and we always have a blast playing. We try and play mostly outdoors because woodsball is the best. There have been a few occasions where a couple of us have been shot by our own team and it is extremely frustrating. We all bought our own guns, within our group 2 people own Ions, one owns an automag, one has a gun that's 8 years old but works great, and I own a SP-8. If you have the money available I feel its better to buy your own gun because it can be tweaked to the way you would like to play as opposed to using rentals all the time.

All in all I'm really happy that I got into paintball because it can be great exercise, being outdoors is better than being inside on the weekends, and who doesnt like spending time with friends.

Only played once a few years ago with my brother in law and his mates and it was a good laugh. Played about five games and in the last game it was a free for all but everyone had to stop playing because one of the smoke grenades somehow set fire to one of the bushes and we all had to be evacuated, it was pretty funny to be honest. Think some people took the game way to seriously and it bloody hurts when you get shot but will definitely go again in the future.

I played about 10 years ago and it was fun. Back then we had no face shields and had to shoot at torso. My boss got hit on side of the face and had a huge welt.
