It's actually best to do a fishless cycle, it can even be faster then using fish since you don't have to do water changes to make sure the levels aren't too dangerous.

Fishless cycle is much better. One website I would recommend is aquariacentral.com, they have an article section that im sure there is something on cycling. Or the freshwater newbie section. If you want some immediate help, ill probably be in the chat along with some other people, come right in and introduce yourself

It's better to do a fishless cycle, because you don't have to do water changes, or worry about the ammonia levels being too high...

Buy something called "cycle" and follow the instructions on the bottle...
