He defiently has one of the ugliest looking shots. Looks like he releases it from way below where players usually take it from. In addition it looks like he uses both hands to release as opposed to one primary hand and one stabilizing hand. But then again remember Reggie Miller? He had the ugliest nastiest free-throw follow threw but look how great of a shooter he was!

Kevin Martin of the Kings has a pretty awkward looking shot as well, though it's a toss-up which is uglier, his or Marion's

Josh Childress from the Hawks has the ugliest jumpshot right now. It's terrible. The ugliest jumper (if you could call it that) ever belongs to former Bulls center Bill Cartwright.

Either Kevin Martin or Peja Stojakavic has an uglier shot but still more effective. I'd say Kevin Martin cuz he has the weirdest wind-up before he shoots.

Yes, he does. And those shots do fall in.
Marcus Camby has a pretty nasty form, he is right handed, and he swings his shooting arm tp the left first and then swing it in a circular motion to the right side and then releases it.
Reggie Miller's form wasn't horrible, it's just that after his follow through, both of his hands collide.

It's pretty ugly looking, but it's quick and that's why he shoots that way - that shot almost never gets blocked because it's usually on its way to the rim before the defender even realizes he shot it.

It certainly isn't pretty until you see the ball go in the basket, then you scratch your head and wonder..."how in the world did he make that?" Then as you watch the entire game, he keeps making them. It might not be pretty, but I don't know if you can call it ugly when he makes a fair percentage of them.
