i am having a sharp pain in my lower left side that comes and goes. what could it be. ovulation??? i had a baby 7 wks ago.

Your appendix in on your right side, just above the hip bone. I had mine removed after it ruptured... it is no fun. You will be able to tell if that is the case because you will have to walk hunched over in a 45 degree angle. It is no fun at all.

appendix is on your right side, i had mine taken out 2 years ago, but actually the pain hurt worse on my left side, which is common. Also -- if it is extremely bad, like bending over in pain, cant stand up straight, go to the ER right away - when i 1st went they tried to send me home saying it was 'gas pains', when i wouldn't budge and they finally took me in they realized my appendix was ruptured. So if you are in serious pain, i would go see a doctor asap. But if it is coming & going, it is unlikely that it is your appendix b/c it was a constant pain for me

right side is the appendix. but if the pain is really sharp, check with your doctor. it could be gas. but it also could be something else, especially if you just had a child.

the appendix is in the lower left side, it sits behind and someone below the uterus. It could just be gas pain, or hard stool moving through the area. If you develop other symptoms, like fever, vomiting, or unrelenting pain, then you had best see a doctor.

Your appendix is on the right. and yes you are probly ovulating I would go to your GYN to let them checkyou out to make sure you are ok though.

but if ur having lower abdominal pain in the left side, can be an ovarian cyst, or just gas..go c ur gynec.

your left side is your stomach. so it could be because you just had a baby.
