I got the pill prescription in October but I haven't gotten a period since September. I know I am supposed to wait to get my period but I wanna start on the pill! What do I do?

Your doctor should have told you when to start taking it. If they said around your period and you haven't had one yet, call them up.

Call up your doctor and let them know your situation, most likely they will tell you to take it on a Sunday (so you don't have to mess with the week stickers).

Since your period is that irregular, you may want to talk to your doctor about a short course of progesterone to jump start your period. That's what I had to do before I started the pill (I have PCOS). I took progesterone for 10 days and got my period 5 days after I took the last pill. I then started the birth control pill as usual.

you can never be to younge or too old i started on the pill when i was 13. go to the doctor and find out if you might be pregnate. it could be a possibilty. and then find out which on is able go with your system and take it. just remeber that you can't have sex until after a whole month of taking the pill. and don't forget it or you haft to wait a week to have sex and, please read all cause that may happen when taking the pill.
