What do you all think about the May 1st Boycott (May Day...going down)? Do illegal immigrants really have a right to demand the same rights as citizens? Or are they overstepping themselves and marking themselves for political attack?
Later days.

"overstepping" may be an understatement...they seem to be stomping on the laws of this country.... the sense of entitlement they have is dumbfounding...and our politicians reaction is repellent...let US citizens stomp on the law and see what happens..a one way ticket to jail and a nice hefty fine to go along with it...have a few Americans go south of the border and pull this kind of stunt..and see if they are ever heard from again.........illegal aliens are not entitled to nothing except a one way ticket home and the bill that would accompany this action......

I am not against legal immigration, people who take the time and effort to go through proper channels and follow our laws..are welcome....but illegal aliens don't fall into this category.....

They would make a better impression if they said that they love the US and appreciate the fact that they have been able to live and work here even though, in some cases, they entered illegally, and would like to take on the responsibilities of US citizenship, and defend the country from its enemies, if any.
Demanding rights while asserting their own separate nationalities, not speaking English even when they can, as if they were an invading foreign army, does not make a good impression at all.

Really bogels my mind, I thought the process was a person applies's for residence/visa or work visa before they inter the country..if your here illegal your deported....thats how other country's work it,, that controls those with health problems, terrorists and criminal's..but now the law seems to be a worthless piece of paper..and those of us that were born here or are here legally have to pay the price and suffer the cost.... another thing is they say the gov is training 6000 more border patrol to help steem the problem,, thats b.s. there is a system with loudspeakers that transmits a high frequency sound that no one can stand to hear and be near and back away.. this is not b.s. its works and is available.. and is a fractiion of the costs of more people..we the people are really being taken by all this b.s. and no politian has enough back bone to do anything about it.. I send emails to those's I voted for and I either receive no answer or a form letter that is total b.s....I really wonder what side our government is on.....

No other immigrants in the past ever got the freedoms and and help from the government than these illegal aliens. There were no bi-lingual schools or free medical care, etc. They have it better than any other group, and that includes those that legally entered the country. I do not sympathize with them. My father came to this country legally and worked hard to get what he had, he did not get anything handed to him.

of course they do not have any rights to demand for anything as long as they are illegal.
