Well if you have kids, send em to someone else for a couple hours, take a hot bubble bath and then make something to eat and watch TV or play on the computer. If you dont have kids then you are already relaxing! XD jk but forreal if you dont have kids then go to the salon or spa (also an option for moms just usually too expensive and we would rather spend that money on something else...unless your one of the selfish moms or the mom with alot of money in which :p lol jk)

I put soft music on the sound system, lay back in my easy chair and keep my eyes closed and just listen to the music.
Watching a good movie while lying down on the couch eating microwaved popcorn (microwaved popcorn ummmmm) and drinking ginger ale.
Being on a boat or a quiet uncrowded beach on a hot day on a padded deck chair, underneath a sun umbrella with a table beside it and listening to the ocean and the waves and their is a waiter who comes by on a regular basis with a cold tropical mildly alcoholic drink in a large glass filled with large ice cubes and always having a drink and good book on the table. And then getting up to go for a brief swim every hour or so.

I relax by reading my astronomy book. Just looking at all the amazing pictures of stars and planets is really amazing and it helps me relax.

I love to listen to natural sound recordings like rain, wind, birdsong or waves. There are some good websites out there to buy these CDs from, like WildSong--no music, just natural sounds.
A hot bath or shower helps too, and maybe some soothing herbal tea like chamomile or linden (lime) blossom.
