I'm a nihilist atheist. Actually on the complete opposite spectrum from communism but I needed a fast screen name. I'm a libertarian with a strong belief in the free market and minimal government. Microscopic government.

There is no God, life is pointless, and I'm happy as hell.

How about you?

I lied there actually.

I'm not really an atheist. I'm an apathetic agnostic atheist.

"I don't think we can know, I really don't care, and I really, really don't think so."

Will you marry me? (just kidding)
My personal philosophy (in cliches)...

1. Kill two birds with one stone...
2. Judge not...ever!
3. Non-violence (unless it's between two consenting adults during fierce love-making, and they don't wind up in the emergency room)
4. Do NOT do unto others (unless they ask) as you would have them NOT do unto you (unless you ask)
5. Pro Euthanasia, Pro Abortion, Anti-Death Penalty...
6. Goodness is it's own reward...
7. Love, not hate...
8. Only one race...people.
9. Take care of Mother Earth (she's the only safe harbor that we know of in the entire universe, so far...
10. If I have to choose between the two...Democrat...

I'm happy as hell, too.
My friends hate that....

I'm Taoist, but my "belief" is only based on my experience of the world and not faith. I'm a phenomenologist as well. So, all experience is valid ontological (metaphysical) material. Why believe in something you can't experience any way; experience is the only means by which we have access to the world.

And I'm feeling great thank you.

PS. If human perception is flawed, than you own belief in that flaw cannot be trusted as it came from your perception.

If this is how things are in your life, then my philosophy includes, in its construct, you as a person in its entirety. But despite this, I do not completely agree with what you allow yourself to be in agreement with for your own good, and, this I claim to be my right, my right to have my own opinion. But then this logically means that I am in a disagreement with my own philosophy, which is true, or which is not untrue, I am not perfect and neither is my philosophy, this is true. For if I were perfect, then there would not be another person besides me in my existence; then I would not have to be bothered about answering your question either.

How can I believe that you exist and God does not? There is me, you and other people – how can it be established that all this exists? You might like to say - the sensory experience is the evidence? Yes, it is! Then can we all not be the similar evidence to someone else in existence, besides me, you and them?

I see that I am not perfect but I seek perfection, and for my sense of perfection, or also that of imperfection, I always look around to see how imperfect I am, or how well I am doing; but more I see of this the more I tend to seek perfection for me in my world. There could be no God as we like to see, but there is some perfection somewhere that keeps me along the paths of my dreams, what is a person without his or her dreams, dreams that never sleep?

Existential soft-Atheist. I see no more reason to believe in God than to believe in gnomes living in my toilet. I think the idea of God is meaningless and his existence would have no bearing on human life.

I believe nothing has a deeper meaning outside of what I give it. There is no fate or destiny. We are all responsible for our own lives, actions, and consequences.

These beliefs liberate and inspire me. I could be depressed about the meaningless of it all, but I choose to be happy.

With or without god, or any other higher powers in the end its all pointless. So with that in mind there is no point in not doing it all.

My personal philosophy is be nice to others. It's harder than it sounds, but I work very hard at it. It keeps me sane and brings me peace and many intangible rewards.

My personal philosophy is that there is no god, because no-one can really tell, and i wouldnt be surprised if it is one big joke by a guy who thought it would be funny and got a bit out of hand.

I'm fine thanks.
