According to a Kinsey research poll.
About 80% of men masturbate on a regular basis while only 20% of women pleasure themselves. What's with the difference ?

Is it society that influences how and how often you do-yourself.

It's pretty unlikely that any given individual doesn't masturbate, unless they're very old or there's something very unusual about their reproductive system. The human body will "masturbate" naturally if sexually deprived for a long enough period of time. Both sexes can (and will, given enough time) auto-induce orgasm in their sleep (called a "wet dream" for boys, given the messy consequences), and women can subtly auto-stimulate in ways that don't involve overt masturbation (e.g. grinding against a bed or other surface), especially when made more sensitive by sexual deprivation. While some people, especially when influenced by sex-negative cultures, may make a conscious decision not to accelerate their body's rate of self-stimulation, I'd be very skeptical of any post-pubescent individual who claimed never to have auto-induced orgasms.

Men are much more stimulated and have a higher sex drive.

No, it's not society. It's simply the nature of man. Men are attracted more to the outward appearance, as in sex and pleasure, whereas women are more attracted to the emotional side, as in feelings and personality.

This is probably an out of date report. Also more women than men may be embarrassed to admit they do.

I don't think your figures are right. I think it's more like 98% and 90%.

I think there are 8% of women who won't even admit it in an anonymous survey.

Maybe because when we masturbate it makes too much noise so we have to wait until we are alone? I dont know. My husband gets SO mad when I want to do it. He does it though. Maybe its the men trying to keep the women down?
