The mavericks didn't become title contenders until they unloaded the highly overrated steve trash
luckiest thing that ever happened to steve as he wouldn't have had a chance to pad his stats on any other team

Yes, Cuban's a little wacky but he treats his players better than any team in the league. In addition, he is constantly trying to improve his team. Note that even though he let Nash go, his team has since improved to be among the top in the league. In addition to having best record this year, was in finals last year and just missed on a ring.
I am not a Mavs fan (actually a Heat fan so last year was great seeing them beat the Mavs) but I do admire some of what Cuban does for his team. Players want to play there because of the ambiance he creates.
