I bought land ... don't know where we're going to put the house and there was a sucessful percolation test on the land 2 years ago.

It's good that you saw a perc test before purchasing your lot. If you intend to borrow money to build, your lender will probably want a new one done. have them test a few spots around the property.

Percolation tests are normally done just previous to building the home. This insures that the septic tank will be in an acceptable area.

The County will tell you where to put the septic talk, you don't tell the County. It's that simple.
