find the percent when the amount and base are known

amount / base = percent

46000000 / 54000000 = 0.851851852

Multiplty the decimal by 100 and attact the % symbol

0.851851852 x 100 = 85.18518519%

85 % of total visits to the UK was on the holidays

Divide the total number of visitors by the number that were there for the holiday.

46/54 = 85.2% (dont forget to move your decimal 2 places to the right to go to percentage.
