Two questions:
- YES you may delete IE Temp Files Everyday.
- Both ways to delete them are the same exact thing.
Recommendation:
Unless you have severe disk space issues, try expanding your IE Cache size rather than deleting its contents everyday - as that will make your browsing performance better.
Or better yet, use another, more reliable and greater performace web browser - Mozilla Firefox:

Hope it helps.

Internet Temporary Files are used as Internet Cache. Internet Cache help you to browse faster. That means when you browse site second times it will be loaded faster. Unless you are having low disk space. I mean if you have good amount of hard disk space you should not Delete Internet Temporary files very often.
Also you can setup a Temporary Files Size in the same Internet Options. Both options of Temporary Internet Files cleaning Procedure do the same thing.

Yes, sometimes I delete them more than once a day. It all depends on how much you are online, and whether or not your computer is running slow. Deleting temp files often helps speed things up.
I don't think it makes a difference whether you delete in Internet Explorer/Tools/Options or through the Control Panel. You achieve the same results through both.

Either way works fine. Whichever you are comfortable with.
Keep in mind that the IE option only clears out your temporary internet files and not your temp files. You would have to use the directory approach to clear out the temp files folder.

I suggest a different approach - Stop surfing porn and visiting websites that are embarrassing/incriminating, and you won't have to worry about deleting cookies.
