100 Grams of Wholemeal Bread contain the following:

Protien 10grams
Carbs 55grams
Fibre 9grams
Fat 3 grams
Other 23grams

A pie chart is to be drawn for this information.

What size of angle should be sed for the carbohydrates?

I get 189 degrees. But the answer sheet say 198 degrees.

I dont understand i did:

Carbs = 55 therefore:-
(100/50) so 180degrees will be needed
plus (100/5) = 20
so it is the 180 degrees needed added to (180/20)
giving you 180+9= 189degrees.

So what am i doing wrong, give it a try.

The answer is 55/100*360=198
The first step was right: 180 degrees are needed. You still have 5/100 left
Then 5/100*360=18
180+18=198

The sum of the grams =100 grams as stated.
360degrees in a circle, 360/100 = 3.6 degree per gram
3.6 deg/gramsX55grams=198 degrees
A pie chart indicates percentages of each component in graph form.
