The inside is in great condition: a few hairline scratches.
The edge is in decent condtion: 3 chips in the porcelain, only one of which goes down to the metal.
The outside is painted black but it's wearing off.

Cool tubs.
Nothing special for underside.
A wire brushing to get off any loose paint.
Metal primer like Rustoleum.
Rustoleum paint for color, or a Krylon spray ( more color choices) will work fine over primer.

Go to Home Depot and get a tub refinish kit, they sell for about $35.00. If you have big scratches and are handy stop at a car shop and get a fiberglass repair kit. It takes some elbow grease and some time but I've done more then several, they're worth it.
