The Crying Game is my number one favorite. Jaye Davidson was just too fabulous in that movie.
After that, It's a tie between Wong Foo and Birdcage.
And I'm not sure if it counts, but I also loved Six Feet Under.

Latter Days and Trick (they actually have a happy ending whats with gay movies and their sad and tragic endings anyways?)
Queer as Folk or Will and Grace as best TV series I think.

I would have to say "Maurice". It's about a upper class Englishman who falls in love with the grands keeper. It is set in 1930's England. Very romantic and very sexy. From the same producers as "A Room With A View".
How could I forget "Gods And Monsters" (thanks Berhmark) ? So I guess it's a tie.
And if you want to see how things used to be rent "The Boys In The Band". Sad, funny and brilliant.

Imagine Me & You, it has Piper PArebo in it. SHe has the sweetest British accent in the movie. Sorry, I know you're a guy, and it's a MAJOR chick flick. But it's a love story, and Piper is gay in it (and HOT).... I liked it anyway.
