My science teacher really seems to hate me.
he gave me C on my report. i get level 7 in tests. top marks for class work and homework and i behave perfectly. someone who doesnt complete much classwork and gets level 4 on tests, got a B.
i never talk when i'm not meant to.
i try to be good at school and he still is rude, gives me bad grades and mean looks.
i cant see my head of year as she said at the begging of the year "don't complain about the trachers-they are right"
but this is not fair.
what can i do?

Tell your parents. I think that you should let them know that you were advised not to complain about the teachers because they are right. Let your parents know all the stuff that you told us on here because I am sure they would want to know about the quallity of education you are receiving as well as the treatment you receive from the teacher. This does not seem like a very good environment to learn in, and if he can not find any other faults with you, beside his personal view of you there is no excuse for his treatment. I once had a superior who flat out told me they didn't like me, and treated me accordingly. I never stood up to them because I was young and ignorant as to how I could stand up and fight for myself, I was alone and on my own, but you have a family, guardian, another trusted adult in the school, someone anyone who will listen. I am sure that teacher is breaking some law by treating you harsher than other students who behave and get worse grades than you. So go to your parents, or a guidance counselor or whomever you feel you can trust and let them know how you feel. If nothing else it might make the teacher have a change of heart once he finds out you are not threatened by the fact that he has a measure of power over you. All the best.

I think you should go to your teacher after school and ask him frankly what you could have improved in your report. While some teachers do have preferences for certain students over others, it is possible that you got a C for a good reason.

If he can't answer you, then consider going with your parents to the principal or someone else in charge. Bring your report with you, to show that you got an undeserved C.

Good luck.

im sorry to hear bout ur problem
if its possible talk to another teacher that teaches the same subject. Ask them to look at your work and tell them whats been happening. If things continue and you are being treated unfairly by this teacher please talk to someone like your form tutor. A teacher has no right to discriminate, every1 should have an equal chance.
