Sage. In Germany we have an old saying "Nobody will get sick who grows sage in his garden". Sage is such a wonderful herb not only for healing but for cooking too. Think about saltim bocca alla romana.

Although I use the Italian parsley and basil the most, I planted a verigated oregano that is simply beautiful to look at in the herb container garden. It smells wonderful, too!

I use basil more than any other herb I can grow. I love the fragrance of rosemary, though, and I grow it as an ornamental.

Italian basil & Italian falt leaf parsley. I cook using these herbs almost daily! Nice to have on hand.

Wild mint. I didn't plant it in there but my neighbor has a lot growing in his area so I guess it some how made its way to my garden it's cool though.

Lavender, it smells so good. Chives-you can put the purple flowers in oil, leave set for a few weeks, and use on salad.
