ok well i think that you should try maybe some of these options..
Give them something cool as a gift! You can wrap up a lot of different things: baby bibs, pacifiers, baby food jars, bottles, booties and give them those as presents.
If you want to announce your pregnancy to friends and family who are long distance, you can mail them a pregnancy announcement card giving them all the details (such as your pregnancy due date and even a picture of your pregnant belly).
When making the announcement of you pregnancy to your family and friendsarrive at a gathering with a shirt on which makes a statement of you impending newborn. As soon as you arrive and take your coat off, you will be greeted with much excitement.

Sheesh, I don't understand why people are so down on unwed mothers having babies--esp. when you're engaged and know that you'll marry eventually! Let's ignore them and answer your question...I was in the same situation and unfortunately my fiance just went and told his parents without me. But to do something very cute, you should invite them over for lunch or dinner. Use plastic or styrofoam plates and underneath, write with something non-toxic "Congrats on becoming a Grandpa/Uncle" and follow up with your due date. It'll be a big surprise, esp. if they came over simply expecting an ordinary, non-chalant meal. Good luck to you!

You could create a game that would tell them. How about a picture of a positive pregnancy test cut up like a puzzle that they would have to put together? Maybe add some lettering to state the due date or something like that.

If you can wait until Father's Day that would be cute....Give them a picture of an ultrasound for Father's Day, or an I LOVE MY GRANDPA bid, You could give them a World's Greatest Grandpa/Uncle shirt if it's his first

a friend of mine's daugther had "Hello Grandma, Hello Grandpa" printed on a tee shirt and wore it when she went to tell them. That was quite cute.

we're going to be telling my dad in a couple weeks when we're closer to the somewhat safe zone, cause the last time we told him, we end up with a miscarriage... we got a puzzle that you can write or draw your own message on and then he has to put it together..... my dad is into puzzles, so it'll be something neat for him to do...
