I'm married. Every relationship is hard. It's never going to be easy. It takes work and a lot of it.Don't be fooled into thinking otherwise.

Each one has its pro's and con's. Being in any type of relationship takes work from both individuals involved. When I was married, it seemed as though I was doing all the work in the relationship. To make a long story short, I came home from Iraq to find that my wife was cheating on me. Now that I am divorced, it does get lonely at times when I am watching something that has a joke that is for adults. I may laugh, but my sons are looking at me saying "Dad, that wasn't funny, what are you laughing at?" Other than that, being single is ok.

Single, I guess. I recently got out of a relationship that lasted almost 4 years. I really can't deal with another one right now. I like being single right now because I'm finally concentrating on myself. I've only been single for a total of about 2 years in the past 15 years (I'm not quite 30!) so it's good for me.
I'm one of those serial monogamists.

-I'm in a relationship and it is very difficult right now. We have been together for 4 years now and I dont' think it will last much longer. It's heart breaking. I would rather be single and not get hurt again.

niether side is all its cracked up to be...the choices in this life, are single and lonely, or married and bored...
i am in a 6 year relationship...before that i was single for a really long time...when i was single, i was living a life pretty much just based on myself, and it got pretty boring and unsatisfying...
now that i am involved, it is very nice to sort of go through life with a partnership...but the difference is the fact that it is real love, not some sort of (just to settle) relationship...so it has its moments of magnificants as well as few hassles now and then...but i prefer the relationship life...

I just ended one... I don't like it as much as being in a relationship at all. There are some positives, but now I am alone and that is not a good feeling. It was for the best that this particular one ended, but I definitely prefer to have someone.

I'm currently single and It's hard because I was with this guy for over 2 yrs and now I'm not. I don't think I'm living the life I miss having someone to hold me and kiss me and tell me I love you and etc.

I've been happy both in and out of relationships. Yes,they take work - from both parties. But if you're both willing to try, it's usually worth it.

I'm married with a child and one on the way.
I think that being single is great because you get to gain independence, but in the same breathe it's perfectly fine to be in a relationship IF YOU AREN'T CO-DEPENDENT/clingy.
