not unless it was thrown at your belly. your womb is pretty good at protecting your bubba, spongy walls that absorb a lot before the feeling gets to the foetus. then there is the amniotic sac. try punching someone under water. the fluid also absorbs most of the shock.

Your dog stepping on your belly may be uncomfortable to you, but won't hurt the baby. However, a serious hit to the stomach could potentially injure the baby, but it would have to be pretty hard. When in doubt, always call your doctor.

Your baby is protected prett good i dont think that will hurt the baby at all. i have a 4 year old son he often sits on my stomach or falls on me when im laying down not that i let him but my stomach and baby are fine. i am 34 weeks pregnant and my baby is very healthy.

No, your baby is very well protected in the womb. I fell when I was pregnant and freaked out about it the doc explained ot me that the baby probably didn't even feel a jolt and that they are protected by the amniotic fluid. Dont' worry your chihuahau stepping on you did not hurt your baby.

We have shih tzu she weighed about 12 pd when I was pregnant with my daughter and she would run and jump straight on my stomach. Everything was fine and no harm was done. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and I have the same shih tzu plus another one who ways 7 pds and they have jumped off the back of the chair while I'm sitting down and have landed right on my stomach so fair everything has been fine. i really dont think a chihuahua steppin on ur tummy can hurt the baby...even tho it may have hurt u....if u see anything out of the norm going on then def. go to the hospital...just in case....also u said any kind of bump to the stomach...meaning what?? theres alot of things...small bumps or trips into somthing i dont think can hurt the baby...he/she is very well protected...altho if ur purposely being hurt....then yes it can hurt the baby...n get help!! please!! good luck n God Bless!!

You are probably fine, my dog did the same thing while i was pregnant. Unless you feel sharp pains or notice some bleeding then you should be worried , but your dog most likely didn't hurt the baby.

Probably not, the baby is pretty well cushioned and protected. It wouldn't hurt to give your doctor a call though. Better safe than sorry and it will give you more peace of mind to talk to the doctor.

No, the baby is protected by layers of fat, muscle, and the uterus itself. I know a girl who was run over and had a tire mark on her stomach at 8 months pregnant the baby was fine.
