You are perfectly normal.
Don't have a test yet. Wait till you are late teens...
It is proven that the earlier a woman starts her period the more female medical problems they have, like cancer.
Be patient..

Don't be in a rush to start your period. You will have it for many years and there will be times you would like not to have it. Being a late bloomer is not bad. In the end you will have eggs further into your baby making years. All women are born with a definite number of eggs. That is why we go through the change later in our life, it marks the end of eggs and babies.
As to a test to see if you can have babies...Why do you need the answer so early in your life? You're body is not physically ready to have a baby, and you are not able to take care of it so early in your own life. I just had my first baby, I'm 36, and I can tell you it is not easy taking care of a little baby that can do nothing but cry to let you know what it needs. I think you should enjoy you teen years. Have fun, stay smart and wait to have children until you are better able to take care of a baby emotionally and financially.
Now, if you must have sex, then protect yourself and the person you are with. Use a condom.... Not only will you, if used correctly, not get pregnant, but it will protect you from illnesses that you can have for the rest of your life. There are some illnesses that can make it difficult or even impossible for you to have children later on. So, be smart. The best is to stay away from sex all together until you are a little older. I was 18 when I had my first time and I'm glad I waited.
So, be safe and enjoy your life while you are still able. Being a grown up is so much harder that you think. And being a young teenager that has to be a grown up because of a baby is even harder.

Yeah, I agree...I know periods are a big deal because that's the official sign of being a "woman" and not a "girl", but they're really not all they are cracked up to be. With the periods comes the cramps, and the nausea (for some), and the days of bleeding...they're a pain. Don't wish them too soon. Enjoy your period-free days!

And it's too early to worry about having a baby. In the future, when you're older and actually ready to raise a child (emotionally, financially, etc.), then you can have that talk with your doctor.

You know what... i was in the same boat as you were when i was younger and let me tell you, that you are perfectly fine. I was a late bloomer also but You can still have kids at later age im hoping. I'm pregnant right now and i didnt get my first period until i was a little over 14. I know how you feel but just enjoy it while you can. You'll be dreading that week every month for a long time. It's no fun at all

you can just start to have your period when youre 19 years old so being 13 and not having your period yet is normal. Each body is different. If you have what you think is a stomach ache, you're most likely starting your period. Just because you don't have your period doesn't mean you can't get pregant, it will take longer though. Wait until youre older than 19 and consult a doctor if your period hasn't started yet

Okay, you don't need to worry yet about not having your period. If you dont get it by 15, it's time to go to the doctors. And no, just because you dont have a period doesnt mean you can't get pregnant. Rare but it does happen.

You can also get pregnant the first time you ovulate. That means you won't get your period at all before your pregant.

I don't know if you are sexually active (god I hope not at your age) but if you are and have been recently, you need to do a pregnancy test. If your mom and you don't have that kind of relationship where you can go to her, find a planned parenthood or another adult you can trust.

You could get pregnant BEFORE your period also! Do you mean, you want to take a pregnancy test because you haven't Started your period? I'm 13 also and haven't started mine. You can get anywhere from the ages of 8 - 16 =)

You don't need to worry about it yet. Lots of 13 year old girls haven't started yet. You can't have babies before you get your period, but it isn't at all unusual for a 13 year old not to have started. If you haven't started by the time you are 16, then you might want to ask your doctor about it. I bet you will start within the next year, so just try to be patient and not worry.

You're not ready to have babies if you're only 13. I know they're cute but they're also a big responsibility and you're doing both yourself and the baby a disservice by getting pregnant this young. If you'll wait to have sex until you're married, the way God says to do it in the Bible, you will save yourself a lot of pain. I don't think you are physically able to have babies if you haven't had your period yet.

You ovulate BEFORE having a period, so there is always a chance you will catch teh right time. And not havign your period by age 13 is nto such a abd thing. I was 13 when mine started, my daughter 12. Usually within 2 years of your breasts startign to develop you will get it. If not THEN worry and ask your doctor.
