I live in the middle of the forest way up high in the mountains, so normally (on a day where we're not in the middle of a huge rain storm, like right now) you could see wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, lizards, many beautiful birds, cats galore, Coyote, my neighbors chickens, the horse down in the valley, an occasional snake, and my black lab who thinks she's in charge of animal control....

i've got about twelve varieties of songbirds fighting at the birdfeeder. my cat is patiently waiting underneath for a moment to strike. several chickens are with him, hoping to catch falling birdseed. across the street are two horses and a field full of sheep.

We have a pair of birds (not sure what kind they are) building a nest under our deck, so there's lots of bird activity!
