I was never confident until I began my career. From scratch. Accomplishing a lot from a little gives you confidence like you can't believe. Even when your career isn't in rocket sience.

Well, my parents were supportive, but that is not the secret because I am the only self-confident child out of four.
I would have to say that it is my outlook on life. I have always viewed situations in terms of- if I do not die then it turned out OK. This makes me less concerned what happens and more sure that the outcome will be fine.
Because I am not really worried in that area I don't care what others think, and I know that I can succeed in almost everything. Even if I fail, it will not be the end of the world, so I don't care that much.
I think that I got this way from being a loner, taking to heart the phrase "what's the worst that can happen?", and listening to my mother when she said things like "it will be OK, you will be fine, and its not the end of the world if you fail"

Will power is ancient as well as knew,,,your growth starts there, your aceptance of the Raw emotion of fundamental educational carriculum is th barreir that you have obviously broken down...your parents create values that you are not born with and although there intentions are to make you strong,it is also a learning curve for them as well,so this means we are all moral experaments that give us insight as we grow into what we accually learn from the expression of the action.Teach me to walk and i learn independance....there is also an opposite reaction to closing the available space we are born with that origionally is meant for understanding due to listening to someone elses beleif rather than knowing the differance on how to create values based on the way you visualize things and althuogh it isn't our fault we think the way we think,it is up to to us to see that confidence comes from independance......most of us can only go as deep as the independance because it's a sure shot.Use logic as a starting point,,not the solution...

I am. Confidence is achieved through various life experiences. It's as if one is a sword being shaped and sharpened by the blacksmith. One has to go through a variety of life experiences before being able to achieve confidence. Love, being nurtured, challenges, successful endeavors, encouragement, pride, talents, intelligence, personal beliefs, education, and values are just some of the factors in the foundry of life that could mold a person.

I had a loving family except my mom and dad fought all the time....I think that crashed my confidence. I think its my challenges and my mothers support in young adulthood that is giving me my confidence. I've been on my own for 10 months and I my confidence has soared. (Note: I'm 19 right now and I know I have a long way to go)

Confidence is a learned trait. If you have had experience in something you gain confidence from that experience. In some areas, I feel very confident. Other areas, not so much.

I am a strong person because I have had to be in my life. Do I lack self confidence sometimes? Yes, especially in matters of the heart.

Yes I am and it comes from knowing myself and learning the why and how of my mistakes along the road in life. Good, bad or indifferent...it was worth the trip.
