Can anyone tell me what happened last night (May 1st) the WB - Gilmore Girls and the ABC - Brother's and Sisters?

Last I knew Rory was going to get a marriage "notice" from someone special.

And, Kitty was going to ask for someone hand in marriage.

What happened. Thanks in advance.

We come back where we left off, with Justin and Rebecca; Justin promises not to tell anyone what Rebecca told him about Joe kissing her, but of course he does: first he tells Joe he knows, and tells Joe that if Joe doesn't come clean with Sarah, he will tell Sarah himself. Then he lets it slip to Kevin, who 1) is babysitting (hee) and 2) doesn't really believe Rebecca, and also ranks on Justin for interfering when Joe and Sarah's marriage has enough problems.

Joe's response to all this is to take Sarah camping for the weekend, which she doesn't really want to do, but he mentions reconnecting, which gets her attention. They go, and have a really great time, but he doesn't confess himself to her -- Holly does that for him, and is a smug ***** about dropping the cheating bomb on Sarah. Sarah doesn't believe her at first, thinking it's just another Holly head-game, but when Holly mentions that it happened during a guitar lesson, it strikes a nerve -- and when Sarah confronts Joe, he admits to it, and the two of them have an extremely ugly fight that lays bare all the issues with the marriage, Joe making the kiss Sarah's fault for running the marriage, Sarah calling him a failure. Meanwhile, Holly herself basically accuses Rebecca of trying to get in with -- or revenge on -- the Walkers by stirring *****, because she knows Rebecca and suspects she is not entirely innocent in all of this, and Rebecca calls her mother a whore, storms out, goes to the Walkers, and wangles a berth in the spare bedroom thanks to poor gullible Justin, who tries to help by asking Nora to let Rebecca stay, and Nora can't really say no, although she should, because whatever happened, Sarah is her child and hi, Rebecca has a beaucoup-bucks trust fund, let her get a damn hotel room for a week.

What really happened? Well, we get a flashback at the end telling us that, while Joe did kiss her, Rebecca hit on him first; Rebecca did not pull away when he kissed her; when Joe said, "You should go," Rebecca's response was, "I don't have to"; and Rebecca made a bunch of satisfied scheme-y faces. In conclusion: Joe is a dink for working out his issues in that way, but Rebecca is still a giant ***** (and Emily VanCamp is acting the pants off it).

Elsewhere, after a helicopter crash claims a McCallister campaign staffer's life, Robert and Kitty have an argument over whether Robert should go on TV with a statement. Kitty is in favor, and prevails; Robert is, as usual, almost too cogent and winning. At a gala event later, Kitty is forced by the tragedy to take stock of her cynicism about love. The result? She proposes. Robert asks for some time to think about it, but is clearly touched, and also not so freaked out by it that he can't tease her a little bit.

Also, Professor Coyote is back. He grade-blackmails Nora into going on a date with him, on which he is a pretentious twonk, and Nora excellently calls him on this, in detail, but then agrees to a second date when he calls to apologize for the twonkage.

With graduation looming, Rory (Alexis Bledel) is anxiety-ridden over her future, so Lorelai (Lauren Graham) tries to cheer her up with a day of eating and shopping. Lorelai notices happily that Luke (Scott Patterson) is once again wearing the baseball cap she gave him, and invites him to join her and Rory for karaoke night at a local bar. After a few drinks, Lorelai takes the stage to sing a heartfelt number which is obviously directed at Luke.

Logan returns from a business trip to California and comes to see Lorelai to discuss his future with Rory.

On Brothers & Sisters. Kitty did ask him to marry him but then she should said i dont know what i was thinking and they left that topic alone, so i guess she took it back. OH!! That girls husband told her that he kissed Rebecca only because rebecca's mom told her first. Well at the end it shows that rebecca actually wanted to kiss him. he kissed her first and then she kissed him back!! oh mccalesters plane crashed and killed a guy thats why kitty asked him to marry her.

I saw Gilmore Girls.. Logan asked her mother at the end if he can ask Rory to marry him and more to Cali with him, and thats how it ended so we wont find anything out till next week. Rory also did not get any jobs and she was sad because of it so she went out with her mom who sang drunk kariokie(sp?) she sang "I will always love you" and Luke walked in and she like freaked (because she still loves him).. um... Zach is going on tour playing lead guitar for the summer... Luke is not going on the boat trip because April is going to summer camp...

Next week Logan is going to ask Rory so I cant wait to find out what she says..

If you go to ABC.com you can watch the episode of Brothers and Sisters, you really need to watch it and not just have a recap of it.,.....one of the best episodes yet in my opinion. I love this show and totally didn't think I was going to even like it.
