Yes, I would need a lawyer after murdering the father or mother if they did that.

Yep. Your lawyer needs to know he is doing that. There's no point in trying to argue with the father over it, just make sure your lawyer knows. I would make sure the lawyer knows about the cans in the back seat of his car, too. I would also reassure your daughter that you would never put her up for adoption, that you love her and would miss her too much to send her away. Try saying something like, "what daddy said was silly. Sometimes adults so silly things."

The father is trying to scare her into staying with him. So make sure to reassure her, so she's not scared at your house. This will backfire on him, because if he makes her scared, and you reassure her, she's only going to be scared at HIS house.

Dr. Phil dealt with something like this on the Tonight Show last night. It's custody sabatoge and is very illegal in most states. Call your lawyer by all means!
