i like how fast paced it is now, the only complaint i have is the refs calling little calls like minor hooking calls, i also like the fact that there are two line passes now.

Hockey has always been tinkering with their rules. Goalies had to stand up all the time once and there used to be six skaters and a goalie as well... Most of the rule changes have kept the games exciting. I still disagree with a game having a possibility to award two or three points. All games should have the same weight in the overall scheme of things. Dump OT/SO, award only points to the winner or go back to ties but fix the discrepancy.

The NHL is the best hockey always, the rule changes have sped up the game. In the long term many goaltenders are going to have short careers if crashing the net with impunity is not dealt with.

before the rule change, i definitely found hockey as one of the most boring and slowest sports ever. however, post lockoput hockey is actually one of then best and most addictive sports to watch, because the game is so fastpaced

Has been outstanding hockey. Teams are so close it is harder this year to predict who will win the cup or any of the awards.
