It depends. When it was originally minted in 1792 (or actually manufactured 4 years later), it was Ol' Lady Liberty. AMEN! In the late 1800s and into the early 1900s, there's the Barber dime which simply states "ONE DIME". Then from around 1916 to 1946, there was the Mercury dime (actually, it is Lady Liberty wearing a winged hat?!!). I actually learned this stuff last week because my younger brother showed me a Mercury dime (which was completely foreign to me). Anyway, after '46, it's FDR. That should answer your question and give you a bit of background on the Dime itself as well.
