I say just go for any of their open positions that you can because then at least you will have your foot in the door.

How specialized are they? Do they look for people to JUST do character skins, or JUST do modelling, or JUST do environmental programming, or JUST do level design? What would excite you the most? What would you leap out of bed every morning and rush into work to do?
